Mixed Bucos booties
€15,00
I found Casa da Lã (House of Wool) in Bucos (Serra da Cabreira – Minho – north Portugal) through a friend. It’s a magic place where women hand process wool in the traditional Portuguese way from washing to hand carding and hand spinning. The wool is from Bordaleira de Entre o Douro e Minho sheep. With this wool I made these beautiful little 100% organic booties and I’m totally in love with them. Attention: because of the natural characteristics of Bucos wool (no chemicals), these little booties, although they look soft and cute, are “itchy”. So I advise wearing them always over baby clothes.
